Scathing details emerge on how Sfiso Ncwane was addicted to whonga

Sfiso Ncwane allegedly suffered from a whonga addiction prior to his death.

The Kulungile Baba hitmaker passed away from kidney failure at Four Ways Life Hospital in Gauteng in December ristmas Day aged just 37, and sources have now claimed the star “used whonga” and had been rushed to hospital earlier in the year for treatment after an overdose.

The source told MzansiGuardian: “He’s been rushed to ER on several occasions. He used whonga. I think it’s amazing he’s lasted as long as he has.”

He said: “I believe easy access to drugs was the cause of his problems. I thought Sfiso was too bright to get involved with illegal substances, but once this disease gets hold of you it’s hard to fight it.”

According to sources, kidney failure – which was the cause of death according to the coroner’s report – is common amongst heroin users.
